Well this blurb is for Gas cost to Otakon. Being that Pan and I are driving, it's really only for us. Gas prices make me cry.
So, if Ashley doesn't go to Otakon this year and I can skip using that cursed Route 301 that's infested with cops, the road to Otakon is some 30-45 minutes shorter.Thank kami. According to Yahoo!Maps and Mapquest, it's about 140 miles up to the hotel from my house. Assuming we don't get lost or have to take a detour blahblahblah.
Since both Pan and I get around 300 miles to the tank [Mine is more around 320 and hers maybe slightly under 300, but my tank holds 13 gal while hers is 12 gal, but I'm getting too technical....] we can technically make it to Otakon and back on one tank of gas, each.
I assume that the oil/gas/sleezy bastards will get greedy again with summer in full swing and gladly hike the prices back up to 3 bucks a gallon at least in the month between now and the drive to Baltimore. And so, here is my nicely rough table of prices acording to price per gallon and number of people going.
God forbid it ever get to 3.50. And you can STFU about me being so exact.
Basically, just round up to the nearest dollar. If we go down to 5 people I shall curse. A lot.
