I seem to have restricted my posting to every 2-3 days... Sometimes even 4-6, and it's cus I don't have anything to post... and because I've been RPing a lot and barely check my friends page on this account anymore... =_= I know. Bad.
Anyway, if I miss something important, just leave a comment on one of my random posts and I'll get a notification e-mail and will get to it sooner than if I'm flipping through my favorites page...
Aaaaand, now, some Otakon stuff. More for my benefit really, and I guess anyone who's riding with me. Seren might care, if I get some pricing stuff on the hotel wrong, but other than that, personal matters.
And let me repeat. Otakon is from JULY 20TH-22ND OF 2007. It seems obvious, but I know someone ::cough::stabsAndrew::cough:: who forgot the dates of the con and therefore didn't have the money to go cus they thought they had two more weeks to get their check to go. If it happens again, I will personally kill you. With a spork.
Right now I have, tentatively, Me, Pan, Andrew, Imouto, Jessie, Ashley, and Cheza heading up to Baltimore. That's 7 people... It may be a tight squeeze, but we have two beds this time instead of one, so that immediately makes things suck less than last time... :D We'll also have two cars, unless 2 people drop out. I'll be driving, definitely, and I suppose Pan will, or Imouto'll be driving her car. That's up to them, and as long as there's no crashes, I'll be fine... :D
We'll be leaving soon after Cheza gets in off the bus, and I assume that'll be before 1pm, which is my hopeful set out time. But, as those of us who have been with me before, when it comes to conventions, we hardly EVER set out the time I want to. Usually it's Imouto's fault, but it was Pan's car [Lord Cante]'s fault once as well. But never mine. :D Kinda funny. Guess the planner shouldn't be responsible for delays, right?
It's 142 miles [give or take 20 since I didn't put in exact addresses] to Baltimore, including the trip to Ashley's to pick her up... That's 300 miles to and from and we should be able to get there on one tank of gas. If gas stays at 2.20 or lower, I assume it won't take more than 45 to fill up my tank [I'll have a newer car than the one I have when we go].
We'll be driving up Thursday afternoon and get there just in time for pre-reg, which I assume starts at about 5ish like all the years before it. As far as I know, we're in the Holiday Inn which is 138 a night for the double room. We'll be there 3 nights, so 414 and 12.5% taxBastards ripping us off gives us a 465.75 total.
Cost Per Person [all prices approximate]

Date: 2007-01-13 05:44 am (UTC)Woo, or I can bring my PS2 outta state, but... I have lame sucky games X3
Heee~ but that's the the rough estimated total...? Doesn't seem too bad, at least... I don't think ^^ And, also... last time I did a mock Greyhound ticket, my arrival time was like... 9 or so in the morning. I think I told you they had another one at 12, but you said it was too late. I got no qualms sleeping at the station XDD;; Just so long as no one tries to rob me >>;; *will start kickin' arses*

Date: 2007-01-13 06:05 am (UTC)Well, I'll have my DS cus Mitsuomi is a time killer for sure, and I'm sure someone can be convinced to bring games. Maybe I can convince Imouto to bring her gamcube so we can have a Naruto party... :D I'll kick yer ass with SASUKE! KATON! GOUKAKYU NO JUTSU! *fireballs to death
Well, if you arrive at 12, as long as everyone is ready, I don't mind. We usually stop at walmart right before going, and where I think I'm picking you up, there's a walmart and gas station, so I can just leave from there to pick you up and bring you to walmart while I fill up and everyone gets last minutes stuff before we flee... or something like that...

Date: 2007-01-13 06:18 am (UTC)Oooh, You might be going back home without that DS if I ever get my hands on it X> *wants one* Nuuuuuu! I dun wanna play Naruto. I look retarded when I play fighting games! XDD We'll play Kingdom Hearts and Soul Calibur III, and Final Fantasies... *doesn't feel like checkin' bookshelves* Or we can go out clubbin'! *shot* I've never been... ._.
I guess I can do a mock schedule again and see the times, but I also need to know what Greyhound station is nearest you; there's so many different places over thar, had a hard time pickin' the last time..

Date: 2007-01-13 06:33 am (UTC)Noooo! Leave Mitsuomi alooone! ::hugs him:: I look retarded, too. I make this 'o' with my mouth and say the attacks out loud...! But it's so much FUN going 'Shishi RENDAN!' and KOing your opponent. Soul Caliber is a fighting game... ::stares at you:: Neither have I, and have no urges to
Oh, there's really that many? ::goes to check:: I only found this one address for Richmond:
2910 N BLVD
Richmond, VA 23230

Date: 2007-01-13 07:21 am (UTC)Nooo, I look... retarded! I start abusing the remotes and doing the random-button!smash, and then I get upset and fling it down XDD; I didn't say I didn't like fighting games, I said "retarded", fuuu~ I had Guity Gear X or whatever, but it hurt my thumbs, and Ky Kisuke (or whatever his last name is) pissed me off, so I sold it XD
*mock scheduling*

Date: 2007-01-13 07:28 am (UTC)Haha. You have no patience! I don't think I've ever thrown a controller, or even dropped it angrily. I just ::eyebrow twitch:: and try again until I get it, or go and eat something or read or glare daggers at the game case. I never said that you said you didn't like fighting games. I was just staring at you cus you said you look retarded while playing them and then offered to bring Soul Caliber III. :D I had Guilty Gear X2 and I still suck at it. I just couldn't get the hand of it cus you had to do all these analog stick moves to do anything worth the time.
And, apparently the thing I thought was a Greyhound Station might be an Amtrack building, and not even an Amtrack station. Weirdos... But either way, I'll pick you up and meet everyone at Walmart... or something...
