C-C-Combo Game Breaker

I've been playing 'The World Ends With You' recently and I have to say it's pretty fun. I'm not going by a walkthrough, and I haven't ever truly been one of those obsessive compulsive must get 100% people, so I'm sure I'm missing a shitton of stuff. But the point is that I'm having fun wandering around battling noise and leveling up.

What I WILL say is that the battle system with the two screens kicked my ass for a long time. My god was I shitty at that. Straight E's as far as the eye could see. If I could, you know, stop failing and actually block, I probably wouldn't get so low on health sometimes. And her air combos? I was on day 6 before I ever really used them. *forgot she could jump*

Unfortunately, my charger is in some unknown place SOMEWHERE in the house, so I had to charge up at Pan's. I killed both the fatty and the lite playing that gd game. B| But it's fun, and as I'm on the 7th day, I can probably wrap it up before the battery dies. Probably... but I've been clearing out all the noise first to level up and master my pins and get more clothes and ajksdljfa; I want that purse/wallet that can hold more money but noooooo. I don't have the required materials. Anyway, my directionally challengenessnessness is my downfall. Even in a game I am pathetically directionally disinclined. OTL

If I could find that stupid ramen shop I've been looking for off and on for hours, I'd be alright. B| needz moar bravery.




And I'm tired of going to the car shop only to be told they have to do this this and this that cost this before they can figure out what's wrong with it. And if it's under warranty it's nothing but if it isn't then it costs this and *flicks off*. Reprogramming my ECM didn't work and I'm half thinking they didn't even and just reset it, but wtf knows. As long as I get my wheels aligned, tires rotated, oil changed, and it passes inspection, that stupid fucking useless ass engine light can stay on. *flicks it off*

TWEWY is pretty kickass. Dual-screen battle system is pretty difficult at times but you will get the hang of it.

Oh man, I should probably go back and get 100%. So close...

I've gotten that hang of it now. Fushion attacks are so nice |D Sometimes I focus too much on her and forget to pass the puck >_>

Haha, I'll never get 100%. Even if I do, it isn't my game and when I return it to my friend she'll have to erase the game to start her own anyway =D

The dual screen battles kicked my ass for a long time, too. At first I just let my partner on the top screen do their own thing, but I learned during a boss fight at around the midpoint that OHHHHHIcan'tactuallygetawaywiththat.

Around Day 3 or 4 I was... making progress, but I played all day yesterday and was kicking major ass at it by Day 5. I just need to make her block when I'm trying to work with the guy to pass the puck back. I think my major problem is forgetting about him and working on her cards to get a combo and then he's getting swiped all over the place and losing health, eheh >_>

This is a recurring problem of mine throughout all RPGs with a "block" command, though. CHARGIN' IN HEAD FIRST YYYYYYYEEEAAAAHHH.

I don't know if the guy ever HAD a block. So far the best I have for him is to 'dash'. But I can barely making him run much less DASH. The girl you just push down and she blocks.

I'm not sure if Neku had a block but I figured dashing out pretty well. I guess I just never used Shiki's block, then. IDK.

I just KEEP ATTACKING so I...get hit. This may be why I keep dying horribly in SMT: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha. Baww.

I think it depends on my attacks. If I have slashing attacks, I end up using them too quick. And the fire I forget I have at all XD;;;;;;; Until all my other attacks are gone. And lightning.... useless. *throws cars, vans, and signs at things* Much more effective.

I definitely had that pin on my roster, too. I had like...three or four by the end. IDK. It's been a while since I've played that game. I tried to do a second play through but I got to That One Boss again and said "FUCK THIS GAME!!".

It doesn't help that said boss is super annoying. By the time I beat him I never wanted to hear the phrase "so zetta slow" ever again. But it was all over the Internet... DX

Yeah, I like TWEWY, but I definitely don't obsess over it to the same degree as my friend. To balance it out, though, she doesn't obsess over the Shin Megami Tensei games to the same degree that I do...

I was exaggerating XD But until I find that little ramen shop so I can stock up, I won't stop leveling. I have NO IDEA why I can't find it. It's probably in one of the places blocked off for some asinine reason. But yeah. I have at least 12 more hours of leveling and random battles. Most are me wandering around aimlessly wondering where I'm supposed to go next and just stumbling onto it.

Wow. That's a title I haven't seen in some time. I stopped playing mine a while back, picked up it up sometime last year, tried to get past one of those people... got stuck, stopped playing again.

I'm like you, dun wanna Gamefaqs it figure out how to get out of that area =.= I wanted to play this game all on my own! DX

I usually don't use a walkthrough unless I am totally stumped. I like wandering and figuring it out on my own. Seems like a lot off people don't do that. At least on the first time through I should do it myself B| And lawl, I might drop a game when I keep getting my ass beat. For a week.... then I pick it back up, level like a mofo, and COME BACK WITH A VENGEANCE.

In Virginia, it wont with the stupid engine light. But I'd take it home, or have them pull the negative battery cable off it overnight and then plug it back in before inspection. That hard resets the codes. If it flips back on...well... boo.

OR! (And this is a great trick.) Take it to Pep Boys or Autozone. I can't remember which one does it.

FIND SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH AND KNOWS WHAT A CAR LOOKS LIKE Trust me, they're terrible in DC at least.

Ask them to get the code scanner and plug in. They can't clear the code for you, but at least you know what the cold error is and tell the chop shop. You'll have a better idea as to if you need to pay or not.

Probably a leak in the exhaust or the selenoid (O2 sensor) is out of whack. That's the first, least expensive issue 90% of the time. And depending on the car, the part can be 30 bucks or 200 bucks before labor.

I asked my car place and they said it would pass with it on and has nothing to do with the inspection. D8? Because I'm not going to the dealership AGAIN. I have to pay TOLLS and then ANOTHER 85 for a diagnostic by THEM and whatever the hell else they decide is wrong with it. I got the code pulled at my dealership and that's what they did, pulled a code and I went a fixed it but of course they wanted their OWN techs to do it and blah blah and I was just not having that shit. I woke up too late today -accidentally pushed dismiss instead of snooze on my phone this morning- so I have to go Friday morning to get all that shit done. I hate waiting til the end of the month to get inspected, but I had no choice because of my stupid job.
