I've learned a few things in the past week or so.

1. A can of manwich does not have all that's necessary to make one right out of the can. The picture on the front is SUPER DECEIVING.

2. I hate shopping for car insurance; and,

3. Despite my roommates assurances that fixing pancakes is easy, I burned both of mine. Spare me the questions on whether the heat was too high, did you put enough grease in the pan, yadda. I just fail at stovetop cooking aside from ramen, pasta, boiling soups and sauces, and browning meat. That's all I need to survive anyway.

1. X DDDDDD

2. we've been with state farm for like evs.

3. just don't try to make waffles in a waffle maker by putting the batter in, closing the lid, and then turning on the heat. your wafflemaker will bake itself shut. LFMF.

2. State Farm can kiss my ass. :[ If I tried to get a policy on my own from them, it would be 700+ every 6 months. We've had them forever, but this past year or so they've been really shitty. My mother is switching and I'm going to another insurer on my own.

3. XD I thought you turned the heat on FIRST then poured in batter?

2. : o i dunno, then. i've had policies at 3 different agencies in 2 different states over like... 10+ years, and never had a problem. maybe you just got a shitty agent? dunno.

3. of course that's what you're SUPPOSED to do X D. i thought the heat was on already! so i poured it in and closed the lid. 10 minutes later when it was still goopy, i was like WAT, then i found it wasn't on. so i turned it on... and baked it shut. /sigh.

2. I didn't have any problems until after my accident. They handled that fine, but then decided to raise my rates. As if I haven't been with them since I was 17. Five years with no accidents, I have one, and bam. Goes up. NEvermind how much I've paid to them during that 5 years more than pays for how much the repairs cost. Then they don't send us a bill. I go up there personally to see how much it is. They finally tell us AFTER it's due, and then say 'Well, it's late so you have to pay the full amount instead of half'. Sorry, I don't HAVE nine hundred dollars to pay you. If you'd given us the bill and/or cancellation notice, ON TIME you would have gotten your money ontime.

3. Did... you ever get it open? Or just wrote it off as a lost cause and tossed it XD?

3. we had to unplug it and wait for it to cool so we could pry it open without getting steam burns on our hands (if i'd had good rubber gloves at the time, i probably could have gotten it open while it was still hot), then we cleaned it out and it was fine after that. just a pita to deal with at the time, lol.

2. i don't remember what happened to the rates after "i" was "in" an "Accident" (read: some asshole charges through a red light and head-ons me, but it's 'my' fault b/c i shouldn't have been turning left -- i hope that guy never has another car that isn't in a horrible accident again as long as he lives), because i was in high school on my parents insurance. but it was that accident that caused them to keep me from having a car during my college years, which lead me to rely on a less-than-reputable individual to take me to walmart, and he ended up sexually abusing me. so yeah, i guess insurance rate increases are kind of evil.

3. That is... amazing XD But at least it still worked afterwards. Knowing my luck, I would have broke it >_>

2. I paid my insurance ever since I got a car, so I've watched it rise as I got different cars. And even if you were turning left, HE RAN A RED LIGHT. How was it your fault that you thought he'd obey traffic laws :|? And I hope that guy got what he deserves for what he did.

I've been pretty happy with Progressive atm, though I haven't been in any accidents, so I can't comment on how they deal with that. But I find them really easy to deal with and really reasonable @pricing.

I'm hoping that I won't have any more accidents XD I'm kinda paranoid now, but I can only let so much space between me and the car in front or someone will cut in front of me. e___e

I looked them up and it was about 150 less than what I pay now, so fff. If they're that good, I should be able to find someone even cheaper than that, but if not, that's where I'm going.

*waves hands* ME ME ME ME ME!!!!!!

2. You can always come over to the darkside and get a quote through the agency I work with. They have Progressive and several other companies as well. *poke poke* come on. It won't hurt you to try it out. Tony DiServio Insurance Agency 804-740-7034. Just tell them I sent you and they will treat you right! *sparkles* (Also doesn't hurt that it helps me out a little too, hopefully in the end.)
