This entry was spawned by
elict's post about CFUD, believe it or not. Saturday night, I went on CFUD just to see who had posted. It had been a few months since I looked, and upon spying George from ParaKiss' entry, I clicked it. I notice a character I recognized and though it might have been from another RP [similiar icons] but found it wasn't. Oh well. But instead, I read their entry: here and thought it was very well put together. Regardless of the content, I want to one day be able to talk intelligently about politics without regurgitating all the stuff I hear. It'll take a lot of research andto watch TV for more than old CSI reruns, but I think it's important.
The threads were interesting to, and there were I got the following links from:
Mrs. Jill Biden. I posted this article, but I'm more talking about Biden. As a person who puts their foot in their mouth at least twice a day, I can't really dock him any points for speaking his mind. If you get shit done and mean what you say, that far outweighs the sly talk we hear all the time.
Sarah Palin.. Those who vote for McCain just because he opted for a woman as VP are really just jumping aboard the bandwagon. I have more research to do, but I can do better than that during an interview, nerves or not.
And if I hear one more person start that whole 'experience' thing, I'll shank you. I don't know what's worse to you all, but someone tripping up because they just didn't know any better is better than someone purposefully doing whatever they want and then trying to step back. Of course, the situation that applies to changes my opinion somewhat, but I'd rather put my vote in someone willing to learn than someone who thinks they know it all and doesn't what the shitpie they baked themselves. =_=
Aaaanyway, I'm going to do more research before the election, but I'm pretty sure of who I'm voting for.Why can't we let an Independent into the debates? that would be awesome, especially if he blows the other two out of the water.
