Yeah. In the high school I went to, some of the religion and/or social studies classes went fairly in-depth in studying the history and fundamentals of various world religions. Like Islam, Buddhism, Hindu, etc. And unlike a lot of people, I actually paid a lot of attention, because it was interesting.
Yes, and that's just the problem. People take too many of the wrong things for granted, and don't bother to think for themselves. And are encouraged to continue in this practice.
Hm, yes and now. I wrote a whole rant/essay once on why believing in the existance of God isn't the same as believing in God, could try to dig it up...
