See I've been wondering about that. I'm a total review ho, TOTAL. I still get the occasional reviews from my stuff at FFNet, and I still giggle like a kid every time they come in. But...
The reason I'm not posting it up chapter by chapter is... um... well I have several really good reasons.
1) I'm not always writing it chronologically, and until recently there were a lot of gaps in the story.
2) I've got a lot of plot threads to keep track of, and I don't want to post before I'm sure I've got them all placed properly; I keep having to go back and make adjustments to critical elements as the plot moves forward and I polish it up.
3) I'm a compulsive organizer, and I like having a main story page in my LJ where I can store all the story comments, instead of having them spread through the chapters. Though I could just keep updating ONE page with chapter links, I suppose.
4) I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my writing. The errors in my other stories haunt me, and I want to read this one top to bottom several times and make SURE I catch all the problems before I put it up. I get paid to write for a living, dammit, am a long-time proofreader, and former QA. I shouldn't have typos or punctuation problems! ^_^ IT TORTURES MY SOUUUUUUUL!!
