I didn't hate Rose, I just hated the way the show couldn't get over her. Season two was all about Rose leaving, season three was all about the Doctor pining for Rose, etc. I kind of felt like the other companions didn't get much of a chance :\ Thankfully series five broke that cycle, but damn.

Martha was pretty cool. Donna is still my favorite, though.
