I don't know DC at all, but finding out a place to meet would be good. We're not going to have much leeway, I'm not gonna lie. We're getting in DC at 12 when the rally starts and leaving at 4 pm, an hour after the rally. Not much breathing room.
Here's what it said about where we're being dropped off: The HuffPost Sanity Bus will drop you off at RFK Stadium in Washington DC. At RFK Stadium, you can easily take the DC Metro to the National Mall on either the Orange Line or the Blue Line from Stadium-Armory Station.
Orange Line: From Stadium-Armory Station, take the Orange Line 4 stops to Federal Center SW, get out and walk two blocks north on 3rd Street to the Mall.
Blue Line: From Stadium-Armory Station, take the Blue Line 4 stops to Federal Center SW
And it says for leaving: After the rally, you are responsible for getting back to RFK Stadium to board the return bus to New York City. You can take either the Orange Line or the Blue Line back to Stadium-Armory Station near RFK Stadium. You can get these lines at the following stations, depending on where you exit the National Mall after the rally:
* Federal Center SW at 3rd and D Streets, SW * L’Enfant Plaza at Maryland Avenue and 7th Street, SW * Smithsonian at 12th Street on the Mall, SW * Federal Triangle along 12th Street between Pennsylvania and Constitution Avenues, NW You must be back at RFK Stadium by 4:00pm to ensure a ride back to New York City.
