All I gotta say about "climate change" is that: the earth has been around for billions of years. It's weathered Ice Ages, meteors and all kinds of shit. I think it's the HEIGHT of arrogance to assume that one species can have enough of an effect on a planet to effect it long term.
They're not worried about the EARTH but about THEMSELVES. The earth will adapt and go on surviving like it always has. Climate change is a natural phenomenon that happens without greenhouse gasses to blame it on. We've had warming periods, cooling periods, etc -- protip: the earth has been COOLING since 1998. 8|
Should we be good stewards of the earth since we're the dominant species: YES. Should we go overboard and run around flailing our arms like idiots and listen to morons like Al Gore who doesn't know his ass from a piece of dark matter? No.
