Ne, ne... How'd you do? Do you even care? ::shrugs:: I'm just amused, so I post it... ::wanders off to bed::

Wahhh top 10 again! *cheers self more*

[identity profile] kageisuke.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
::laughs:: It seems like you post more than that, though... ::ponders:: Aa well. Yay top 10!

[identity profile] akuni.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Noooo, I'm still just a newbie to LJ.
*checks behind ears* Yep, still wet. :P

But you all lub me anyway, right?! ^_^

[identity profile] kageisuke.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
::laughs:: Of course! ::pats you:: We just need more RenIchi and you'll be fully inducted!

[identity profile] akuni.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
*splutters* What?! MORE RenIchi?! 20,000+ wds of it wasn't enough to get me in the club?

*artistic sigh* I really am working hard, soooo hard, on getting the next one done. It's twice as long already, and there's still lots more left to write. (Oh god... my fic is long and hard... Renji and Ichigo are having a laughing fit behind me now, how am I supposed to finish this fight scene when they're giggling like loons?! Get with the program, guys!)

Hey speaking of that, weren't you gonna write me some RenIchiRenIchiRenIchi? ^_^

[identity profile] kageisuke.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
::laughs:: Never! ::shakes fists:: Bah! Why must you write it all before giving it to us! ::cries:: Post a chapter at a time and revel in the reviews and death threats for cliffhangers! It'll be the insperation to write faster!

::shifty eyes:: ⌐_⌐ I am, I am... but I have a lot of things I have to write in the next week or so, so I have a little here, and little there...

[identity profile] akuni.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
See I've been wondering about that. I'm a total review ho, TOTAL. I still get the occasional reviews from my stuff at FFNet, and I still giggle like a kid every time they come in. But...

The reason I'm not posting it up chapter by chapter is... um... well I have several really good reasons.

1) I'm not always writing it chronologically, and until recently there were a lot of gaps in the story.

2) I've got a lot of plot threads to keep track of, and I don't want to post before I'm sure I've got them all placed properly; I keep having to go back and make adjustments to critical elements as the plot moves forward and I polish it up.

3) I'm a compulsive organizer, and I like having a main story page in my LJ where I can store all the story comments, instead of having them spread through the chapters. Though I could just keep updating ONE page with chapter links, I suppose.

4) I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my writing. The errors in my other stories haunt me, and I want to read this one top to bottom several times and make SURE I catch all the problems before I put it up. I get paid to write for a living, dammit, am a long-time proofreader, and former QA. I shouldn't have typos or punctuation problems! ^_^ IT TORTURES MY SOUUUUUUUL!!

Aaa, okay okay. ::Waves at you:: I understand that. I don't write my long stories very chronologically either. I tend to write the scenes I want to first that are pivitol then fill in the gaps. It makes the long stints of slightly uninteresting but necessary scenes easier to write.

My plot threads are strangling me. =_=

I'm not organized when it comes to fanfics, but my original story has so much info I'll never use written down/typed up it makes my head hurt.

I'm not a perfectionists in that regard. I have grammer errors and typos no matter HOW many times I reread it, and as I don't have a beta, they get out rather quick after I finish them up. My original story though I'm gonna have to get a beta for, because I want that one to be really perfect this third time around...

[identity profile] akuni.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Ahhh!! *chops at plot threads* Bad plot threads! Stay down!

Long stories... I wrote the smut first. *blushes and smirks* Then I wrote some action. Then some plot. Then some smush. Then more smut. And more smush. And... well you see where this is going. I finally made myself tie up all the bits in the first 2/3 of the story. I'm pretty much left with plot and action, and the last howevermanyfuckingchaptersareleft now. :P (I keep having to split chapters because all this frakin' action takes up a lotta words.)

Original stories... sigh! I have so many, and I have notes and... yeah they go nowhere. My muse abandons me fairly early with those. Maybe it's not meant to be... this is the first time I've been writing steadily in years.

No beta? Geez... I volunteer to beta any fics that star my favourite guys. *nods and grins*

::sighs and watches them die::

I... write the sexual innuendo-y scenes first, but not the actual sex until later. I write actions scenes and profound moments in character development as well so I don't forget how I had them worded in my head.

I have 7 original stories in my head, and I have done hardly anything with them when it comes to writing. But I have all sorts of plots and developments up in my brain that I need to get out. That's part of the reason why I even have a regular drabble tag, as they tend to be scenes from my stories that I really had to get out of my head so they'd stop plaguing me...

But I hardly write them... =_= I need to get off my ass...
