You mean you don't know how to customize your lj? The best option for those types of headers is "3 column". Then you go through 'look and feel', establish colours, and then keep clicking tabs until you get to the 'images' part, put the header link there (please host it somewhere else, lest my paid account went to hell) and the height in pixels (should be 533 or something), and that's that!
