Finally!
I drew yesterday. In fact, I drew the day before yesterday too [though techinically it was yesterday morning, but you know it isn't the 'next day' until you go to sleep]. I drew today. I feel soooooo good now... ::sighs:: And all the pictures turned out much better than they should have considering I draw pretty much every two weeks and they usually turn out like shit. =_= Man, I am so relieved. Of course, because I have been watching WAy to much Bleach, my first two pictures [of, sadly, only 4] look so Bleach like [as far as my drawing skills can manage] I nearly cried. From jor or horrow I'm not sure. The first was because Hirako Shinji's been in my head, so that retarded hat he wears popped up in the picture. The second picture reminds me of that picture of Ichigo with that hoodie on... It didn't look so totally like him until after I added the spikey hair coming out from under the hood. ::sighs:: After that though, I draw my own characters! And they amazingly still are recognizable as the characters I drew months ago and have been slowly evolving over the past 1 1/2 years. Renee and Schwanz. [Yes, Pan. SCHWANZ.] And he looks older, college ages now, and you can see those dick lines you like so much... ::laughs:: Unless I give him that waistband on his pants like I need to...
After what must have been months of trying to get in contact with Merideth and finding out she's not going and all this other crap, I have FIANLLY figured out most of the trip. Anyway, back to where I found out Merideth wasn't going.
After I found that out, I was like, who has the room? Well, Don has it of course, since it was in his name. But wait, DON isn't going EITHER. So WTFH? Okay... Now, I find out Casey has it. ::sighs:: It's in his name and everything, and I talk to him on AIM and everything is settled. Finally. None too soon, since the con is, oh, 2 WEEKS AWAY. I'm just trying to figure out where the money I'm going to be spending is coming from. ::laughs:: I have devised at least 90 bucks per person for the whole trip. Yeah, that's it.
Breakdown:
64 - Hotel
10-15 - Gas
10 - Parking
Yeah, that doesn't include food or anything, or pre-reg, cus that money doesn't go directly into my hands. Every man/woman/rabid fan for themselves at that point. But yeah. Having cost for Otakon rounding out to 140 dollars over all is amazing. Really. Last year we spent that alone on hotel because Andrew didn't go because he FORGOT WHEN THE ONVENTION WAS and had to go to work. That and he have NO MONEY. That's the reason he isn't going this year, too... >_x Oh well, at least everything is set so far...
We have a plan, too. Since Ashley lives on the way and we have no place to stay Thursday night, we have to drive to her house, leave all our crap there so we can cram everyone into the SUV to drive up to the convention center, get our pre-reg, and drive BACK to her house tosleep act like retards and scare her into realizing I was more of a spaz in real like than I can ever be online. Then, Friday morning we leave whenever the hell we feel like cus nothing happens in the morning anyway. Meet with Casey, and run loose for 3 days. ~_~ Yeeeaaah...
Am I the only one who wonders when Bleach characters could just STAND IN THE AIR with NOTHING under them and fight? Somewhere around the Sealed Sword Frenzy special thingy I was like WTF? and thinking back to the end of the SS arc, I can't clearly remember anything like that happening. And it seems like Ichigothe freaking idiot is the primary offender... Huh... I wonder...
EDIT: Waaiiit! I DO remember something... When Ichigo was fighting Byakuya, I think. Him and his damn swooshy in the air cut everything around you trick. Can't say Ichigo's a one trick pony...
