The basics... ung yeah
Okay. I am going to stop being fail about Otakon and giving you all who are going information. After I spend 30 minutes reading my report from last year and realizing I remembered nothing of what happened until I read it. And that's what con reports are for.
Anyway. The people who are going and going to be in one of my rooms:
Me
Cheza
Pan

Random Person 1
Random Person 2
Random Person 3

May be going -or are going but not sure if they're in my room:
Jen
Jonnie boy the stripper toy
Kris [in NJ]
Andrew
Annie
Jessie

As for the hotel, I have no idea what the hell I did when I made these reservations. No lie.
At the Sheraton I one room, July 29th - August 1st. It's 150 a night + 13.5% hotel tax. Parking is 27.84 for Thursday night and 22.04 for Friday and Saturday night. Don't ask me why, that's what the lady said. But it's underneath the hotel, so at least there's no real walking.
At the Days Inn I have one room, July 28th-31st. It's 125 + hotel tax, and I have to call about parking.
Aaand the Radisson, one room July 29 - August 1. and another room that has July 28th through July 31st. It's 145 + hotel tax. Unless they suddenly excavated under the hotel, it's the underground parking deck which was... 28 last time I checked? Gotta call and see.
You will notice that I only have two rooms in the Radisson, and I have no explanation for this because... I have no idea. I don't like the Sheraton because I thought that stupid 'cancel 7 days prior through phone AND fax' shit was only their policy, but it turns out that's how ALL of them are, as you can ONLY reserve through that new site. Personally, I hate that damn site because I have to do each room individually instead of making the clerk do it. B|
So in conclusion, if we have enough people for two rooms, we have to stay at the Radisson unless I finagle another room somewhere else. One of the rooms at the Radisson has a check out day of Saturday, and NOT Sunday, so I'll see about chaanging that, and the Days Inn room has the same issue with the Saturday check-out day. Feel free to stalk the otakon site for when rooms are open. =___=

Driving? Oh god... That's gonna be a long ride. What day are you going to get here? Thursday, or Friday?

About 8 hours... duuurrrr... And I am going to be there on Thursday. You?

Us, too. We always come up on Thursday so we can get our pre-reg. And we go some place to eat and generally just enjoy being surrounded by silly bints before we go our separate ways for the weekend: aka conflicting schedules with lots of stuff going on. Do you know what hotel you'll be at?
*jumps into bed so I can get real sleep*
