And I had such high hopes for this plot twist when Madara said he'd tell us the OMG TRUTH about him. I could have forgiven the "blah blah he did it to protect you" if there had been... some kind of twisted, illogical madman thinking behind it but. This is just. Sadly shounen D:

I was just going along for the ride. I rarely try to anticipate what's going to happen next. More fun that way 8D

And even if he did, I can still see it being some weird illogical madman reason. Seriuosly. Putting your brother through Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi? That's twisted...

I normally don't but since Itachi is so very dear to me (always has been ♥)... I'm kind of very interested in things that may change the way I interpret his characterization.

*pets my muse* Itachi is very dear to me as well, which is doubly why I try not to second guess and just take things at face-value. It makes it a lot easier to play him when you know his motivations, but if you can't know that [damn mangaka] then taking everything up front is best. Though I do think of why he did it in order to play him. XD I've said some cruuueeel things with Itachi's tongue. Ohohoho.
