*pets my muse* Itachi is very dear to me as well, which is doubly why I try not to second guess and just take things at face-value. It makes it a lot easier to play him when you know his motivations, but if you can't know that [damn mangaka] then taking everything up front is best. Though I do think of why he did it in order to play him. XD I've said some cruuueeel things with Itachi's tongue. Ohohoho.
